Gwinnett Place CID Launches Monthly Community Photo Contest
Duluth, GA ‐ May 2, 2017 The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (GPCID) has launched a monthly community photo contest that will run from May through October 2017. Entrants are encouraged to submit an original photo and caption depicting a Gwinnett Place location for a chance to win a monthly prize from an area business.
The CID is inviting the public to share their vision of the people, places and things that make Gwinnett Place special in this photo contest. The May contest theme is “The World In One Location,” which is the CID’s tagline and the inspiration behind the contest. To enter the contest and for complete details, visit the CID’s Facebook page. The contest is open through May 31, and the winner will be announced the week of June 1.
“We want those who work, live and play in Gwinnett Place to help us showcase the diversity and excitement our community offers – be it our parks, restaurants, shops and more,” said Joe Allen, executive director – Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District. “We are excited to see the creativity people have and how they choose to reflect the character of Gwinnett Place.”
What’s the most interesting thing to do or see in Gwinnett Place? Is it going to get sushi at Fumi on a Friday night or taking a walk at McDaniel Farm Park on a warm spring day? Snap a pic of your favorites for a chance to win!
Select photos will be shared on the Gwinnett Place CID social media platforms, and may be used in future CID materials, including the website.
Contest themes will be announced the first week of every month up until October.
