Kim is replacing long-time board appointee June Lee
Duluth, GA ‐ October 7, 2025 – The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners announced its appointment of Alice Kim, financial director of Nam Dae Mun Farmers Market, to serve on the Gwinnett Place CID board of directors. Kim is replacing long-time CID board member and County appointee June Lee, who resigned from her appointment earlier this month.
As a member of the CID board, Kim will represent the business community’s interest as the CID accelerates infrastructure improvements, security enhancements and economic development in the Gwinnett Place area.
With more than 20 years of experience leading Nam Dae Mun’s financial strategy, Kim has been instrumental in the company’s expansion, with eight Georgia locations, rebranding, investments and capital improvement projects. She also oversees procurement, supply chain management and human resources, making her well-versed in both financial and operational leadership.
“We are thrilled to welcome Alice to the Gwinnett Place CID board and look forward to the strategic vision and financial acumen she will bring to our board,” said Trey Ragsdale, chair of the Gwinnett Place CID Board of Directors.
Kim holds a B.A. in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has completed coursework at Georgia State University. As she and her family are proud residents of Gwinnett County, she is deeply committed to advancing the cultural and economic vitality of the community.
“I’m honored to serve on the Gwinnett Place CID board and excited to work alongside fellow leaders to drive redevelopment, foster economic growth and enhance the quality of life for residents and business owners alike,” said Kim.
