June 15-September 22: Join Duluth Yoga at the Duluth Town Green for free yoga every Friday. The class will be held from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Namaste!

Never been to Shorty Howell Park? This summer is the perfect time! The park resides on 67 acres that includes baseball/softball fields, a multi-purpose field, playgrounds, walking trails and a lake. There is something for everyone, so pack a lunch and bring your family! The park is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.
July 3: Celebrate Independence Day on July 3 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Duluth Town Green with Duluth Celebrates America! There will be a fantastic fireworks display, great bands, food trucks and activities for everyone to enjoy.
Date nights are a summer must! Wine and dine your significant other at one of Gwinnett Place’s many restaurants. From American to international cuisine, there are plenty of dining experiences to choose from such as Fumi Hibachi and Sushi Bar or Bahama Breeze!
July 7 and August 4: Spend the first Friday of July and August with Flicks on the Bricks! In July, they will be playing “Alice Through the Looking Glass” and “Moana” in August. The movies start at 9 p.m., so be sure to pack a picnic and get there early to claim a spot near the fountain at Duluth Town Green.
July 15: On July 15, explore the new playground and dog park as well as the natural beauty and historical heritage of the McDaniel Farm. From 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., enjoy hay rides, pawcasso-dog paintings and much more! If you can’t stop by then, be sure to visit the family-friendly park another time. The park is open daily from 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
July 16: July 16 marks National Ice Cream Day! Visit one of Gwinnett Place’s many ice cream shops to celebrate this delicious dessert day. With shops to pick from like -196 Ice Cream, 8 Fahrenheit and Kremo Ice Cream, there’s no better place to spend National Ice Cream Day than in Gwinnett Place!
