Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District Elects One New Board Member and New Vice Chairman
April 17, 2018 – Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (GPCID), a self-taxing district that uses additional commercial property taxes to accelerate infrastructure improvements, security enhancements and economic development in the Gwinnett Place area, elected one new board member and a new vice chairman during its annual Caucus of Electors on April 12.
Gwinnett DOT installs “Don’t Block the Box” signs to aid traffic flow throughout Gwinnett Place CID
September 15, 2017 – The Gwinnett County Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (GPCID), recently installed 13 “Don’t Block the Box” signs and pavement markings throughout the district in order to remind drivers to keep the intersections clear so traffic can flow smoothly.
Gwinnett Place CID completes phase 2 of Satellite Boulevard streetscaping project
July 18, 2017 – The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (GPCID) recently completed phase two of its Satellite Boulevard streetscape project that included the construction of pedestrian enhancements along both sides of Satellite Boulevard from Pleasant Hill Road to Old Norcross Road.
Six popular Gwinnett Place dining establishments featured in Explore Gwinnett’s 2017 Gwinnett restaurant week
July 6, 2017 – Explore Gwinnett is hosting its 12th annual Gwinnett Restaurant Week, Sunday, July 16 – Thursday, July 20. Six Gwinnett Place area dining establishments are among the 24 participants, including three establishments that are new to the list: 9292 Korean BBQ, ArtBar, and FUMI. The $25 (+ gratuity & tax) prix fixe meal is three courses, with most restaurants offering a 20% to 35% savings.

The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (GPCID) is inviting members of the community to take its market research survey to share perceptions of the Gwinnett Place area as well as shopping and dining patterns. Survey feedback will be used to help with future planning and improvements.

May 2, 2017 – The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (GPCID) has launched a monthly community photo contest that will run from May through October 2017. Entrants are encouraged to submit an original photo and caption depicting a Gwinnett Place location for a chance to win a monthly prize from an area business.
Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District elects two new board members
April 14, 2017 – Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (GPCID), a self-taxing district that uses additional property taxes to accelerate infrastructure improvements, security enhancements and economic development in the Gwinnett Place area, yesterday elected two new board members during the annual Caucus of Electors as a part of its monthly board meeting.
