Leo Wiener, chair of the Gwinnett Place CID Board of Directors, is president of Ackerman Retail and has more than 25 years of experience in the retail industry. Prior to joining Ackerman & Co., he was a principal and partner of Glenwood Development Company, concentrating on retail development and re-development in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, directing many of its key acquisitions, dispositions and financing. He also previously served as managing director at a boutique Atlanta real estate firm that focused on buying value-add retail and office properties for high net worth family partnerships, and his earlier career included various management positions at Eastern Airlines, Florida High Speed Rail Corporation and Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO).
Jill Edwards is a branch banking manager for Wells Fargo. She serves as the co-chair for the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce's membership drive and is on the Partnership Gwinnett Campaign Operating Committee. Her past community involvement includes leadership on Wachovia's United Way Employee Campaign for Metro Atlanta, 24 years of active involvement in the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and 15 years of membership in Kiwanis.
Craig Kaufman, founder of Kaufman Realty Group, has 25 years of experience in real estate/development and management. Prior to forming Kaufman, he worked as a financial analyst and real estate consultant in New York City and St. Louis. He serves on numerous civic organization boards of directors.
Jeonghwa ("June") Lee is a partner with the Atlanta law firm of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough. She specializes in corporate law, foreign investment, immigration and international law. Immediate past president of the Korean Southeast U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the founding president of the Korean American Bar Association of Georgia, she also serves the Regional Governor for the International Association of Korean Lawyers and is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s School of Law.
James Song is Vice-Chair of the Gwinnett Place CID Board of Directors. He is President of CRJ, Inc., a commercial real estate and retail company, and owner of GAJA restaurant. Mr. Song has more than 30 years of experience in small business start-ups and management. His civic engagement also includes previous membership in the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the Korean Chamber of Commerce of Georgia.
Andy Sumlin is the leasing director for Cushman & Wakefield. He has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate with a focus on landlord representation of office buildings throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area. An active member of the community, Sumlin is a member of the Capital City Club, UGA-Chi Phi Fraternity Board member, member of Northside United Methodist Church and is an active adult leader in his two sons’ Boy Scout troop.
Mark Williams, GPCID’s secretary/treasurer, owns Printing Trade Company - a full-service print company his family founded in 1970. He has served in appointed and volunteer roles with numerous civic efforts county-wide and in the cities of Norcross and Duluth. Mark resides in one of Gwinnett’s oldest and largest neighborhoods.
